Day Thirteen

Joshua 1:6

Be strong and courageous, for you are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them

Judah, my first grandson has the middle name BRAVE. There are times when I need to remind him of his name and that it describes who he is because even though I am with him, and will not leave or abandon him, he still needs to engage his “BRAVE” to overcome the obstacle or fear he’s facing. I love him so much that sometimes I wish I could do it for him, or make the fear or obstacle go away, but as his grandma, I know that every time he conquers something he’s fearful or uncertain of, it makes him stronger! God knows that engaging your ‘BRAVE’, making the decision to be bold and courageous, stepping into what He has already promised AND given you, only makes you more capable of taking MORE territory in the future. He doesn’t want you to settle for LESS than He has allotted for you! You see it’s so much bigger than just you! God goes on to say, “You are the one who will lead these people to possess all the land I swore to their ancestors I would give them”

Consider today, “who are you the one” for? Maybe its family, friends, co-workers, neighbors, or just people that God wants your life to intersect with today. Whoever they are, I know that they need YOU to be strong and courageous, take BOLD ACTION, for them! Be BOLD AND COURAGEOUS for the people’s sake; you are the one they are looking to, waiting for you breakthrough, to stand up and be bold so that their courage is strengthened and they can follow.

Blessings,
